This photograph shows many popular landmarks on the waterfront in Kemah, Texas, in 1980. Jimmie Walker´s Edgewater Restaurant, Wheel of Fortune Restaurant, Key Largo Restaurant and Pier 5 Restaurant were all located on the Clear Creek Channel in Kemah, Texas, near the Clear Creek Inn Restaurant, another famous spot. The Landry´s Corporation began development of this area into the Kemah Boardwalk in the late 1990´s.
