This photograph was taken from the drawbridge when it was open to capture the parade of boats waiting to navigate under the bridge. The restaurant landmarks with the docked shrimp boats have since changed.
This photograph was taken one year after Hurricane Alicia in 1983. Many of the waterfront landmark restaurants are different from the photographs taken before the hurricane.
