This is a historic photograph with the Brass Parrot Restaurant with the red roof. This landmark and the many docked shrimp boats have since changed.
This photograph was taken in 1988 from the new high fixed-span bridge between Kemah and Seabrook. There is a full view looking out into Galveston Bay with many sailboats and power boats in the Clear Creek Channel and on the horizon.
