Landmarks - Curley´s Corner - Seabrook - 1980

A funky place to gather, buy bait and ice, or just drink a beer. Located in the intersection of Texas Hwy. 146 and NASA Rd. 1 in Seabrook, Texas, this building is a historic landmark from the 1930´s when it was originally named "Hooker´s Beer" and then "Doc´s" in the 1960´s.  This photograph is also printed in black and white.

This was one of the few buildings that existed in this area before the development of NASA in the 1960´s. Many remember stopping for a cold Coke and to stock up on bait before going fishing. Currently the building has been added on to and serves as a private office.
