Lighthouses - Bolivar Point Lighthouse at High Tide
A beautiful photograph of the lighthouse on the Bolivar Peninsula, taken the moment after the sun sank into the horizon on a cold winter day. The sky was thick with rain clouds, and the field in front of the lighthouse was flooded with the high tide.
The sky was thick with rain clouds from the rains durring the day, and the field in front of the lighthouse was flooded with the high tide. This unlikely combination of events created this magical moment when the spark of light from the sunset illuminated the water in front of the lighthouse. The reflection of the tall dark structure and the contrast of the white clouds against the lighthouse all contributed to one of my best-selling photographs.
